Case Study

Fordek - Order summary
The goal of this project was to create an interactive and engaging platform that integrates traditional systems in a modular and scalable way. The main module focuses on sailing and motorboat training, and it includes multiple sub-modules such as a participant panel and a testing platform.
The second module is the Cruises page, featuring the complete cruise offering in a slightly refreshed visual design. The entire project is managed via our highly customized CMS – Webshark. The platform is built on native web technologies: HTML, CSS, JS, and PHP. The blog is powered by a headless WordPress instance, which does not affect the website’s performance in any way and provides easy post creation through a familiar interface. CDN and WAF are delivered by Cloudflare.
Crucial modules
Online payment
The website features an integrated Przelewy24 electronic payment system. It allows for direct payment for courses and cruises straight from the website. In accordance with the guidelines, special logic has been implemented to allow the use of only specific payment methods, depending on the selected configuration.
Registration system
An event registration system has been created, allowing for simple booking by customers and easy management via a personalised CMS. The main assumption of the system is the greatest possible automation of repetitive processes.Custom CMS
Webshark – our fully personalised, CMS built from scratch allows to maintain maximum performance, while maintaining incredible user friendliness. It contains only the components necessary for the specific project.
"Training" and "Cruises" pages
For the website launch, two main modules were created – Trainings and Cruises. They clearly separate the main offer of the sailing and motorboat school. The cruises page has a slightly more relaxed vibe, featuring friendly colors associated with summer vacations, while the trainings have a slightly more official character.
Interactive expierience
Apart from its modularity, the entire project focused on high user engagement—as many elements as possible were to be animated or “clickable,” allowing for extensive interactivity with the website user. At the same time, the application was designed to maintain an aesthetic appeal and high performance.
Testing platform
For school’s need it was additionally created, featuring mock tests for trainees. It offers several exam modes, allowing for exam preparation in a friendly and convenient way.
Modularity
Another assumption of the project was scalability or modularity. Future plans include adding additional modules that will function alongside the “trainings”, “cruises”, and “test platform”. A specially prepared infrastructure allows for the addition of further modules connected to one and the same CMS system.
